Vagabond
Lodge is located on the Kicking Horse resort so you can ski right
back to your room after a day on the slopes. Or cycle to and from
the Lodge. And the Golden Golf course is only a short drive away.

 WHO
WE ARE
We
are Lori and Ken Chilibeck. After living in Edmonton
for over 30 years, our love of the mountains brought
us back to them. We met in Banff in the 70’s where both
of us worked for a few years. Lori was involved in the
tourism/ski area industry. Ken's background was in television
for TSN
The Sports Network for 20 years. Home and
work is now Vagabond Lodge. We both spent time in Europe and
were inspired by the great pensions(bed and breakfasts)
you find in the ski resorts of Switzerland where we spent
some of our early years. We love meeting people from around
the world. Our guests become our best friends. The worst
thing about what we are doing, is having to say “goodbye.”
But we know many will be back. We are excited
about what is happening at Kicking Horse and Golden. You
cannot find better people than those who live and work in
this area.
