VAGABOND LODGE is a 10 room Mountain Lodge bed and breakfast with a European Ambience.

The rooms do not have phones(cell phones work if you need), or  TVs.  All beds are queen-size with feather rest mattresses and duvets.

All the rooms have private baths with heated floors and are unique in one way or another. The four corner rooms all have window boxes which are just great for sitting in the sunshine and reading. But they can also be made up into single beds.

Six of the rooms have balconies with great views of the Rocky Mountains.

And two of the rooms with balconies, also have lofts. There is a queen size bed in the loft, and double-size bed downstairs.

Hanging ouT Area

The main floor features a number of different areas great for sitting around playing cards, board games, reading your favorite book or visiting with other guests.

And not to be forgotten is the bar which is a hand-cut split log. This is the gathering area for our guests from around the world after a great day on the slopes or after a wild whitewater rafting trip on the Kicking Horse River.

Why watch television when you can watch flames flicker in our hand-made local-stone fireplace. It's a unique and pleasing features of the lodge, and a cozy spot to sit and visit.

Amenities/Features

• Breakfast is complimentary for all guests. And there are plenty of fresh cookies in the afternoon and coffee and tea is always available. Just help yourself.
• Lunch is complimentary during Ski season for stays of 2 or more nights.
• Downstairs is our games room with a pool table. And yes there is satellite TV if you really need a fix.
• Secure area downstairs to keep your skis/snowboards along with a boot dryer and tuning bench.
• High Speed Internet is complimentary and the building has Wireless.
• Ski in/Ski out capability.
• Vagabond Lodge is a non smoking environment.
• Pets are not allowed in the building.
• Adult environment with open staircases,antiques and family heirlooms.
• Guests are encouraged to remove outdoor shoes to protect the beautiful fir-plank flooring.
